How is a photograph made?

Take control of light, movement and focus. Change aperture, shutter speed and ISO, then see what happens to the photograph and inside the camera.

Interactive camera simulator

On phones, landscape orientation is recommended. Watch the automatic tour, then use any control to take over.

Learn photography by experimenting

There is no single correct setting. Balance light, movement and depth of field for the image you want. Compare different settings in the same simulated scene.

01 · Aperture

Increase the F number: the opening narrows, less light reaches the sensor and the depth of field generally increases. Lower the F number for more light and stronger background blur.

02 · Shutter speed

Short exposures freeze movement; long exposures create motion trails. Compare the moving car at 1/4000 and 1/8 second.

03 · ISO

Increasing ISO can make the image brighter and increase noise. It does not add light to the scene. Consider it together with aperture and shutter speed.

04 · Lens and stabilization

Change focal length to explore framing and background blur. Toggle IBIS: stabilization helps reduce camera shake, but does not freeze a moving subject.

Your first experiment: freeze motion

Set shutter speed to 1/4000. If the image gets dark, open the aperture or increase ISO. Then switch to 1/8 second: what happens to brightness and motion blur? Use Correct exposure to restore the balance.

This is an approximate educational visualization based on the X-T5 and XF16–50mm. Light, noise, focus and mechanical motion are illustrative, rather than measurements of a real device or manufacturer tests.

INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCES FOR YOUR BRAND

Let people understand your product by trying it.

Just as this camera reveals its inner workings, your product can demonstrate moving parts, operating principles and the effects of its controls in a browser. Luce develops custom 3D product and machine simulations for brands.

Product demonstrations

Let visitors rotate your product, explore its components and discover its features interactively.

Sales and exhibition presentations

Explain a machine that is difficult to transport on your website, in a sales meeting or on an exhibition screen.

Training and user guides

Demonstrate controls, operating sequences and principles through guided scenarios.

Technical process visualization

Reveal hidden mechanisms through cutaways, moving components and explanatory animation.

From an idea to a working experience

We define the audience and the behavior to explain, then assess your existing 3D model or scope the modeling work. We design the interactions, develop the simulation and check it on target devices before adapting it for your website or presentation environment.

This example is a communication and demonstration tool. Projects requiring engineering calculations, physical accuracy or safety training need a separately defined validation scope.
